It’s never easy to find the right Interior Design company as reviews can be misleading & inaccurate. After going tru several ID companies, we took a leaped of faith and engaged Johna Sue from Interior Diary. Throughout the process from contract signing to handover was a smooth and assuring journey with Johna. He was very meticulous and transparent on various cost breakdown. He listen and understand what we wanted in terms of design and quickly translated our ideas clearly into 3D and CAD dwgs, which we went through thoroughly before the carpentry work started, giving us confidence moving into execution. The project was executed smoothly. His coordination with us home owner were seamless. Johna was very responsive throughout the entire process, something we truly appreciate. He provides timely updates automatically and was able to get back to our question almost immediately. The craftsmanship and attention to details were outstanding. It’s clear Johna is passionate about his work and cares about his client. Most importantly he managed the project well and met all the agreed timeline. Overall, I’m thrilled with the transformation. This is a long-overdue review. Renovation completed earlier part of 2025. We came across Interior Diary and instantly click with our Designer Joe. Joe is very friendly and made us feel instantly comfortable when we first met him. He worked within our tight budget and despite the tight budget, he managed to come up with a beautiful design for our Kitchen which ticked all of our boxes. Thank you Joe! We will definitely recommend you to our friends and family. I was assigned to ID Joe from Interior Design when I decided to completely overhaul my 2 toilets at home. as well as painting the whole house. The prices quoted by the firm was reasonable and unlike other IDs, Joe actually suggested a method to help saved costs but effects were equally nice. I appreciated that. I also liked he was responsive to my requests and questions. The projected was completely within timelines. At the last day of the painting, he and the painters actually stayed till 9 to 10PM to help complete the work. Joe even went extra mile to help clean the furniture for me , organised neatly before putting them back to their original places. If not for Joe, i wouldnt be able to finish the cleaning. Overall experience was great, from on-site assessments to the actual renovation for our old kitchen. Our ID Joe was very helpful and insightful in providing solutions for our needs and was mindful of our budget and limitations with our old flat. He also noticed details that other contractors have missed, and was transparent and patient in explaining to me and my mum each line in the quotation, which built our confidence in engaging with the company. Joe Ng is the interior designer who completed the renovation of my sister’s house within a very tight deadline. I witnessed the hard work and dedication of Joe during the renovation of my sister’s house and hence, I decided to engage him for the renovation of my new house. Joe did not disappoint. From design consultation, choosing of materials and throughout the renovation project, Joe is professional, reliable, approachable, responsive & patient. He listens to my preferences and provides inputs to ensure that the materials / paint colours I chose will meet aesthetic considerations. He also explains the pros and cons of each renovation / plumbing recommendation. Joe is able to provide valuable and practical recommendations to address concerns that I highlighted. For example, I told him of my concerns on steam from electrical appliances such as rice cooker and steamer affecting cabinets and electrical sockets. He proposes a design of an island cum dining table in my kitchen, with power track installed. The use of power track in the island resolves the problem of steam affecting cabinets and electrical sockets. The island also provide me with more kitchen top work space and cabinets storage to complement the small kitchen in my house. I also appreciate that Joe keeps me updated with schedules of different jobs, photos and videos of the renovation progress. Joe also made frequent trips to my house to check on the renovation progress. Joe will also call me to discuss certain renovation matters and to ask for my decision before proceeding. I am grateful to Joe for going the extra mile to help me on several occasions. Examples include him going down to my house on a Saturday evening to check a downlight which will need to be changed if it is not daylight type, his hands-on transfer of different colour paints into smaller containers for easier storage, his help to keep excess tiles in a suitable area and most importantly, his willingness to help me with payment to contractors who do not accept cheque payments, etc. I would like to convey my heartfelt thanks to Joe for his designs, completion of the entire project within the specified timeline without compromising on quality, and his patience in answering my queries (including some which I had asked previously but had forgotten his explanations).
